The cruelty is the point. Republicans think stories like this will actually help them at the polls in red states. I pray they are wrong.

This tracks. The GOP, after all, is the party that claims to empower women. Christ, what a nightmare for that poor woman.

There is no plan.  Anger is the only point.

The plan is to snatch the baby from her.

Although I’m not sure what their plan is if the infant is born severely premature and needs round the clock medical care and the mother doesn’t want it.

The plan is what it’s always been for these people: to care deeply and passionately about that baby until she squeezes it out, then change phone numbers. 

The infuriating part is this “the violence of rape will not be cured by the violence of abortion.”  Uh, yeah.  No one is claiming that the abortion makes it all go away, you f*cks.  It’s just one way to not add to the trauma. 

I’d say this is going about as well, if not better, than the GOP had hoped for.  

Oho now, be careful. It’s not about letting women die. It’s about letting slutty slut sluts die. After all, good Christian women who listen to their husbands and fathers are never raped, amirite?

rape is not a violent crime to republicans. its a property crime.  single women cant be raped, they hadnt been claimed yet.  in their eyes, the only victim is the husband whose property was damaged.  everything else they do flows from that concept

Republicans have screwed themselves for quite a few years to come. The majority of America will not stand for this religious law or should we call it Republican Sharia law. 

If you’re saying that you don’t recognize a VAST difference in maturity, decision-making, coping skills, etc between 18 and 33 then you’re only telling on yourself. 18 may be ‘legal’, but it’s still dating as close as you can to an actual child without breaking the law.
