Is it wrong that I kind of love Coco?? Or am I projecting a level of irony on her that she may not actually possess? #beat

You're all making such eloquent, rational arguments, which is very impressive. I turn into an inarticulate, frothing-at-the-mouth, red-faced, rage-filled, expletive-spewing demon when confronted with her face or name. It's actually quite debilitating. #goingroguereview

@ardentlilac: You're right - most of her friends say they had no idea, but one friend was very aware of her habits. I think she was probably living an incredibly segmented life. #dianeschuler

@deeemer: Thanks for the clarification! As someone without kids, I fully admit that I don't understand the issue. Maybe because I don't have a strong gender preference? #genderdisappointment

@deeemer: Disappointment is one thing; not being able to buy gifts for girls 5 years after the fact without crying is quite another. #genderdisappointment

@msAnthrope: Her friends say that she smoked pot regularly, which seems like the only outlet in a crazily controlled life. There's no telling if she actually drank secretly as well.

I recommend balled up socks to throw at the TV. It's an excellent way to vent my unholy rage. #sarahpalinoprahliveblog

@alula: I studied in France during high school, and spent many hours pouring over the male nudity. It was revelatory! I owe more of my sex knowledge to European ladymags than to all of my fumbling college years combined. #maghag

@ElizaGray: I love them too, but I can never find actual stockings. All the stores seem to have are those hateful elastic topped thigh highs (because nothing makes you comfortable or feel better about yourself than tight elastic around your squishy areas). #maghag

@meloroast: Thanks for the advice!! I have no shame in walking or finishing last - I just really want the feeling of accomplishment. Exciting! #openthread

@chatterboxwriting: Ah, so you understand that bones weakened by prednisone are more prone to breakage! Hence the broken foot (the red wine might have contributed).

So I'm thinking of doing a sprint triathalon, which is a big deal for a number of reasons. One, I hate running. Two, I've had 4 knee surgeries. Three, I'm recovering from a broken foot (drunken klutziness). But the big one is that I've spent the past year in and out of the hospital for an autoimmune disorder.

@Plum-Pie: If you haven't read the Handmaid's Tale by Margaret Atwood, I'd highly recommend it. For lighter reading, try Shanghai Girls by Lisa See. As for non-fiction, The Last Campaign is great - it's about Bobby Kennedy's presidential campaign. #openthread

@coffeespoon: Oh, god - I've been there and it's unbelievably tough. How long have you been together? What does he say about the whole situation? Does he get pissy whenever you bring it up? My ex-husband developed such a chip on his shoulder, like it was my fault that I was the only one paying the mortgage.

@ZombieApocalypse: My super exciting plans involve PJs, leftover pizza, and DRV'd episodes of America's Next Top Model (short girl edition). Oh, and I haven't showered in 2 days because the hubby's out of town and the dogs don't care. Awesome! #openthread
