Wrong Wheel Drive (41%)

Yeah I am really confused on that bit. Meaning the seat back cannot go up/down? That would be really messed up. I enjoy adjusting the seat in my NB to a more upright position for autox but highway cruising I take a more relaxed position. I feel like theres no way that is true with the newer car.

Interesting how others would say the ND/RF is not a good highway cruiser. I think my standards might just be REALLY low but I love cruising down the highway in my NB even. Surely the NC/ND have to be better and more comfortable at doing so. But the reason I can enjoy the highway is just because of the way the car is

I think the biggest question is, is the 2017 really any better than the 2013? I would imagine if they are essentially the same car, then you could get a decent deal on a low mileage 2013 model. That would offer a FAR better deal for essentially the same thing.

I dont understand why nowhere in the US has speed limits that change with the traffic like they do on sections of the Autobahn in Germany. It makes sense to have lower limits during peak rush hour times near urban areas but 3am with nobody on the road, why should those limits still apply? Sure something reasonable

I definitely agree with this. I always go about 75-80 on the highway (other than when I lived in Virginia for 3 months, then it was no more than 5 over ever). Regardless of it being 55, 65, 70 on the highway, I am not likely to change my speed unless traffic warrants it.

I definitely gotta look some of these up!

I once drove my Miata from NJ to Toronto, ON. When I arrived in Toronto, I was driving down some main boulevard and there was a yellow Miata driving the other way past me. I waved at them since I always wave at Miatas. They must have seen my NJ plate because both passenger and driver gave excited two handed waves back

I’d go with Porsh-eh-file to make it simpler

That time Oppo user LimitedTimeOnly found me at the Tail of the Dragon because as I drove by he recognized the mismatching paint on my car (silver door on a blue miata) from my posts on Oppositelock. Was awesome to meet up and chat with a fellow curvy road enthusiast. The best part was the completely unplanned meeting

There were some actually good tracks from the rest of the Inception score. The music really made that movie though. All of Hans Zimmers stuff is just so inspiring.

I have learned that I enjoy driving more than I do wrenching. But I still would never go to a shop for just about anything. I find the driving experience is enhanced knowing that I had to earn it. But I am still young so I have not lost the youthful charm yet. Someday I will refuse to do parking lot exhaust

But that means you arent seeing the deeper meaning of some of the things he says then. I actually do not want to hear much if any facts about the vehicle. I can look up a serious review if I want that. The sort of stuff that really hooks me is how he managed to relate post-modernism to the frigging PT cruiser. It

How’s that 4500 rpm feel for extended periods of time? Haha 4k at 80 is loud enough in my NB, although gearing in the NB 6 speed is more obnoxious than the NA 5 speed so it might not be that bad for you.

31 degrees is cold?? That’s what the heat is for and a winter hat. A nice sunny 20 degree (F) day is perfect with the top down and some heat on. It doesnt get cold unless you are going 70+ down the highway or its night time or raining. Ive definitely had to turn the heat down on 30 degree days because it was too warm

Hey, whats wrong with 26?? I have the top down no matter what. There are NO times when it should be up. I definitely judge all convertibles on sunny nice days who have the tops up. What is the point of owning a compromised vehicle if you do not maximize the use of the only advantage?

Definitely the PA drivers that are bad. NJ and NY drivers are overly aggressive but thats okay by me. They will drive way too fast and dangerously, but that is fine. They will get out of the way and do their own thing. But PA drivers just drive slow in the left lane!! Same goes for cars from MD.

God damn, the amount of people I pass going up hills... And I am in a freaking Miata with barely 140hp!! It just amazes me how much people cannot maintain speed. I will often get passed by people with a 20mph speed differential and end up catching up and passing them because I just leave cruise control on and do not

People that use their brakes too much. I immediately write them off as stupid drivers. Slight bends in the road can be solved with just releasing the throttle and letting the car slow down a little bit. No need for using the brake pedal for this. It just makes me think the other driver really has no grasp of driving

Because Roadkill!

Definitely understand wanting to “just drive to see stuff”. That makes sense and is worth the experience. You can even experience this though while in “populated” areas. Plenty of areas are dense and spread out at the same time. But then you truly end up in the middle of nowhere as you leave the city. This is
