Wrong Wheel Drive (41%)

I generally followed I-40 on my cross country trip from NJ to CA in my Miata. However, I think I spent a total of about 5 hours on the actual freeway as I wanted to go slower and take in the countryside on the local streets/byways. To get to the start of I-40 in NC, I took the Blue Ridge Parkway from end to end and of

Its more like 200+ or so if you include all of the ships that can operate at least one aircraft or more. Probably even higher if you want to start including the smaller UAVs

It’s a bit pedantic to say there is much of a difference between the Blobeye and Hawkeye STi. The front fascia and tail lights are the only things of significance.

But supercar Sunday ends usually by 11 anyways. Should be easy to hit up both! Especially for me since I live in Woodland Hills anyways haha.

Do spectator tickets sell out or can I just show up day of and buy at the entrance? Also, is the museum still open normal hours? Will probably check that out as well while in the neighborhood. I'm assuming parking for spectators is also different from usual, is there a designated spot for that? I know that area can be

I absolutely loved driving in Italy. I'm from new Jersey and currently living in Socal. So I live and breathe aggressive driving mixed in with complete idiots. Driving in Italy was completely peaceful in comparison. There were no slow people!! I can deal with aggressive drivers. Just stay out of the way and all is

I went to the Amalfi Coast on a trip to Italy in 2016. It was amazing driving there just because of how insane it was. I had a rental smart for four. That vehicle was smaller than anything available in the US but still felt like a giant truck on those roads. I was being passed on both sides by mopeds going in both

Depends on your commute entirely. Since it’s always summer in LA, I can run summer tires all year round. And since my commute is entirely canyon roads, having a tire that really grips is perfrct. Both of my cars have 200tw tires. I’d love to get another set of maxxis Rc1 for track days with the miata but having just

If your seat is not upright enough, yeah the headrest becomes useless. But having the seat upright allows far better car control so my head is always against the headrest by default. I will sit upright regardless of the seat and it’s a lot more comfortable having the seat there to match.

They change the rules on purpose to “keep the bad guys on their toes”. It’s as much part of the security theater as anything else in the shenanigans. Everything you described though is why I am happy to have precheck as a frequent flyer. No taking off my shoes, no taking out my two laptops, and liquids can be wherever

Well I’m not saying self scan, it still needs a person to handle it, but the time consuming part is analyzing every document and talking to the people. The TSA person can just be a guide and anyone who fails goes to the second remediation line

Or ban stupid people from the airport.

The biggest slowdown is the TSA person inspecting documents. Oftentimes there is just one person standing there at a counter serving everyone. They need to read the boarding pass and the ID and cross check things. Documents are pretty standardized to the point that this should be easy enough to automate. There should

While the driver is definitely the one here to blame, legally speaking any good lawyer should be able to pin this on Tesla. Tesla needs to make the system “idiot proof” in order to avoid legal ramifications. The system could be setup to come to a halt and pull over if the driver removes their hands. Rather than just

Shit I would do what he is doing for free if I had the time and knowhow how to fix that sort of stuff. I would suck more at the writing about it part but man does it sound like fun at any price point to do that for work.

Yup, its weird to me just seeing no rust at all. I am used to rust just being completely unavoidable being from the East Coast.

I’d certainly be glad if that happened. I don’t imagine my ‘06 is going to be depreciating much so long as I don’t get hit by someone or add a ton of miles. Totally stock, second owner, rust free California car. I’m a firm believer that cars are meant to be driven though so I doubt I’ll keep the miles low. I know I’ll

I think its funny that they note “the Hellcat was the second car in the past two weeks to be caught going more than 130 mph on the Indiana Toll Road.” Why would you lump a car going 130 and a car going 160 into the same category? Those are vastly different categories of danger. While both are stupid and dangerous on a

It most certainly is the NY way to cross whenever and whereever but I do value my continued existence. I could care less who has the right of way if I am dead.

Well unless the person is being hit inside of a crosswalk with a walk symbol, it is a useless statistic. You take the risk should you cross illegally. I full grasp that risk and assume if I get ran over its my own damn fault. Urban planning can further idiot proof things but really it just builds a better idiot.
