There is a guy at my local autocross with the Volvo moose badge. Always hilarious to see that old wagon hauling ass down the track. Sounds kinda like a Harley and looks like a really fast brick. He runs DP class so its definitely modified enough to actually be competitive.

The biggest fundamental issue is that bagels are ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE outside of NY/NJ. They just do not make the dough right and something is always horribly wrong. So I could imagine these things just being rather disappointing due to crappy bagel liners. I do like the idea in theory though!

Wait, reading a book while driving wasn’t already illegal??

Good! Shit, people should just be ticketed for doing anything other than driving while driving.

Has Alex Roy worked for you guys before? I feel like he has got all sorts of interesting stories to read.

Haha that would be awesome! His R&T articles are excellent and very Jalopy.

But someone driving a Chevy Spark at full tilt is the same as anyone else driving a normal car at a normal pace. So that is not endangering at all!

Well its kinda like an exocet Miata.

The way that used car pricing works pisses me off to no end. Does not matter how many times you say FIRM, LOWEST PRICE, FINAL OFFER, the guy coming to look at it will make sure they get a better “deal”. Doesn’t matter if you price the car thousands below every other one on the market or what you have done, they will

Yup, my first thought when I saw the headline was that I didn’t realize the DC metro went that far South in Virginia. Then I realized that he meant NY.

$20k and they cant even give you free shipping!

Hidden speed bumps is the key factor. Driving around at night in traffic is scary. You just randomly feel like you have fallen in a ditch every once in a while. I generally took Bloomfield all the time when entering town and Garden or Clinton to leave. Those streets are kinda fun to blast down in 1st gear since the

Shouldn't they just make the minimum distance to the first seats further? Like keep the fence how it is but just move the people back. Sure that means fewer people in the stadium but its got to be cheaper than building a higher or stronger fence. You don't see people in the 30th row getting hit by flying car parts.

Makes no sense why the main street in the town is literally the worst. I recall I often took side streets to get across town even when Washington Street was faster, just because I wanted actual pavement. Biking on it was a disaster too. Definitely my favorite way to get around town though. Only time I used my bike

I think the new Civic looks about the same as a previous gen accord coupe in terms of size. But that has pretty much always been the case; each new generation civic is similar or larger than the previous Accord. Probably due to safety regs.

I drove a Honda Civic at the time so I didn't care much. But every time I saw a nice Porsche going down Washington Street I just cringed. It's like offroading in many spots. Plus the flooding every time it rains.

I am really interested in exploring the Northern region. Running through mountains is always fun and I imagine there are some great roads up there. My girlfriend really wants to see Venice too so that would be a good compromise to add to the trip to get more mountain driving in.

How are you enjoying that parking situation and absolutely horrid pavement/cobblestone everywhere? Hoboken is nice, but 5 years of it was enough for my life lol.

So what would you say is by far the best road trip to take in Italy if you could go anywhere for like a week or so? I recently got back from a trip with my girlfriend and we loved driving around Italy. We spent a few days around Siena enjoying nice back roads and even took on the masochistic journey of driving in

And also 50 euros (or more) in tolls! Driving far in Italy is pretty nice; left lane hogs don’t exist, the autostrades are paved well, and there are no cops watching your speed. Sure there are the speed cameras but they are generally well marked anyways.
