Well that is different from practicality, that is just not fitting the car. I can certainly understand since I have my seat all the way back. I know that if my legs were any longer, I just would not fit. The whole notion that Miatas are for everyone is kinda silly but its certainly right for me!

Torque free is more than good enough for most applications. My Bluetooth OBD reader though has been the best tool to always carry though. Skiis fit in the passenger seat of a Miata. I would say any skiis under 180cm should fit from the passenger footwell to the back window. And if you have to transport a passenger at the same time, then luggage rack mounted skiis!
