Were the photos in this review shot with... film?

I drove one of these for a week.

This is exactly why it’s perfect. People hating on this car either don’t really understand what it’s about (being totally, unashamedly loud and boisterous) or are too old to be in the market for it anyway.

Good car, great engine. Not especially well built (thanks, Chrysler), but the styling has held up incredibly. Doubt they’ll ever appreciate, though - they’re unreliable thanks to the shitbox Mercedes electrics of the era, and they really are nothing special to drive aside from the tire-melting power. The PRHT rattles

The 288 is a much, much better take on this. The 308 just looks unfinished and confused.

The Mondial is also a very, very ugly car. I mostly wanted to troll Jalopnik’s 308 lovefest, though.

People fawn over this car’s history and pop culture relevance, not its appearance. “Good-looking” is not the same as “cool.” This car is decidedly the latter, sure, but oh-god-no-definitely-not the former.

Ugly, yes, but probably the most visual character any Ferrari has shown in 25 years.

Gag me with a spoon. The proportions, oh god, the proportions.

I don’t like the 350Z - aesthetically or otherwise.

The gasoline wars. My god.

It’s too bad the 24-valve is such a horrible car to own as it ages. It has an incredibly low-volume engine (by Mercedes standards), and Mercedes has not yet deemed it worthy of adding to the Classic parts reproduction regime. Maybe they will someday, but if you have engine electronics go on this thing (and they

LeEco’s car seems like straight up smoke and mirrors. I don’t see it ever coming to fruition. I think Jia’s bit off about 20 times more than he can financially chew here, and construction that has been started can just as quickly be stopped, especially if nobody’s paying the bills.

Is... is there any support, outside Donald Trump’s warped mind, for an expanded nuclear arsenal? I could see support for modernizing the arsenal. But growing it? I don’t even think the GOP can get behind that. It’s not cheap to maintain the nuclear force, and we get literally zip-doodly-nothing out of creating a

Underrated comment.

This is a bad argument (I don’t mean to single you out, sorry), and I see it a lot when I report on companies that chronically behave badly or fail to deliver a product. The “all publicity is good publicity” school of thought is, if not an outright falsehood, at least only true to an extent that is effectively

“The EMotion will use a new battery technology using graphene, with battery packs produced by Fisker Nanotech, a joint venture between Fisker Inc. and Nanotech Energy Inc.”

My guess is somebody in the neighborhood got it on a surveillance camera.

Liveability is going to be entirely dependent on what you want / expect out of it.

Seriously, this car’s looks are hugely underrated by the enthusiast crowd - entirely because it’s a Miata.
