Ha ha ha ha! I am so glad I'm not an avid Star Wars fan, or this would seriously aggravate me. Besides, it is essentially impossible for this to come close to the Avatar experience, because that movie was created from the ground up using 3D equipment and techniques. To my knowledge, it is impossible to post-process a

@AmphetamineCrown: You echoed my thoughts exactly. Or perhaps, since you said this hours ago, my thoughts echoed you. *bum bum bummm*

@MaNiFeX: Agreed. I used this system a few times myself, and while it IS amazing, I would not want to bring it into my home, with Comcast's bandwidth caps. Even if my lines could sufficiently carry the kind of data rates this requires for the full experience, I would use half of my monthly allotment in one

@JimboLodisC: I bought one of those when I was a kid. Even with my easily amused sense of childhood wonder, I took that piece of crap back the very next day.

Netflix searching! Ah rejoice! Now it will finally be sufficient as a standalone Netflix Instant client. The old method was decent, but required so much scrolling and only showed movies that they thought we'd want to see.

@Nitemancometh: I'd say that sums it up pretty well, because every time I go into one I feel similar to how I did as a child entering a Toys R Us. Still though, I try not to buy stuff from there. I usually just go there to see things in person before I buy them from NewEgg.

@Nitemancometh: Kind of, but Fry's is more of a 'big box' store, akin to Wal-Mart or Target, but specializing in electronics (of every shape and form.) RadioShack, on the other hand, are solely 'boutique' sized stores, catering to individual assistance, hence providing more customer help but offering much more

@Architectin: hahaha excellent. That was one of the most common auto-misspells. A Perfect example of having to reqire your brain: 2665down

@HK-47: Well, the 'average consumer' is certainly going to stay uninformed if we aren't even told what kind of food we're eating!

@radio.one: Oh dude, you missed out. It totally is just like that once you graduate. I'm a software developer, and my company provides complimentary hookers, drugs, and mansions to all of its devs. Oh, and speedboats.

@Nasdaf: Agreed. That definitely belongs on this list. Navigating the web via 3D polygon puzzles seemed so cool when I was a kid... Then again, so did Hackers.

@Chroma3000: I worked at a Teavana a couple years back when I was still in college. Now that's a job that will make you obsessive about brewing. And yeah, even though I've got like seven teapots, I only break out my cast iron if I'm feeling like a long relaxing tea session. Otherwise, the Perfect Tea Maker is the way

Anyone tried Bitbop yet? I checked out their episode list, and it seems they've got a good selection (though not many episodes per show.) However, I'm a little reluctant to pay for another streaming content provider, given that it is almost identical to Hulu, except for mobile. I'm hoping Hulu will release a mobile

@skittlzncombos: Haha well actually I think that the iPod Touch DID kill the iPod classic. And, if I really wanted to be a bitch, I could say that Windows Mobile is dead also (but I won't because it would require a level of nit-pickiness that I know is fallacious.)

@HobseyBobsey: Ok, while I generally disagree with certain aspects of Jesus's analysis, I've gotta take his side on this point. As a developer, I am definitely no stranger to command line inputs. Most of my day is spent typing esoteric strings into text editors and command lines. But I would NEVER say that, "typing a

@alek2407: Ha ha host it from your Dropbox account.

@Cromwell: Trying to push a software copyright infringement lawsuit based on look-and-feel alone is a somewhat shaky ground. And given the significantly different underlying architecture of this site, it would never hold water. Diaspora clearly offers something unique and different from Facebook.

@Robotronic: My thoughts exactly. I overshot my bandwidth cap this past month. The last thing I want to do is start hosting data for social networking. Heck, the last thing I want is to invite people to access my system for data in general. I rarely even seed torrents. But I still am a fan of the concept for

Keep in mind that neither Firefox nor Chrome even have x64 releases for Windows. I think Chrome has an x64 version for Linux and maybe Mac, but not Windows.

@corsair130: Yeah, it clearly has a link for IE, and then right under it a link for 'all other browsers.' For Windows, Mac OS, and Linux.
