I’m in the U.S., and one way to see THE TERROR in its entirety is to pony up for AMC Premiere, which allows subscribers to binge-watch the entire season. (My cable company gets enough of my paycheck, so I’m watching one episode at a time, on the scheduled air dates).

A turn of phrase I gotta say I appreciate.

Except that we don’t really know if anyone’s gotten walker blood & guts in a cut, or in their mouths. It stands to reason...but it hasn’t been shown. And we do have one character right now who has an unresolved illness of unknown origin - Father Gabriel, whose infection (though so far seemingly contained by abx) has

Tylenol’s not an NSAID. So, Doc Siddiq tried to cure Korl with either aspirin, ibuprofen or naproxen.

I’m wondering how much the upheaval in Donal Logue’s life - his daughter had gone missing for awhile - affected his ability and availability to participate. (Last I heard, his daughter is fine.)

I’ve watched this show kill off major and minor characters without averting my eyes. I even watched the Glenn & Abraham kills AGAIN when that ep re-aired. I can watch all manner of godawfulness befall humans, on TWD or anywhere else. But a completely fake tiger? Nopenopenope. Couldn’t do it, can’t do it, won’t do it,

Apparently this was a nod to Garland Jeffreys, a multiethnic singer from the ‘70s. He was known to perform in blackface, despite being half-black himself, and he covered “96 Tears.” (A bit of an anachronism in its use here, though - he didn’t release that cover till 1981.)

I figured she was a goner by the episode title. “My Name is Ruby” was a big, blinking “DANGER AHEAD” sign for me.

Funny. I see Rob Lowe, not Downey Jr.

Agreed! Siouxsie was obvious, and the show took pains in Season 1 to establish Jonathan’s taste for alternative music.

I was 23 in 1984, and I never saw Mr. Mom. Don’t care to, either.

Re the gas: if it’s ethanol blend alcohol, it’s not usable after 90 days’ time. Gas without ethanol will last for years, so if you can find it, I guess you can use it. Diesel fuel last between six and twelve months.

Armbands for groups “on Rick’s side” - white for Alexandria, green for The Hilltop, orange for The Kingdom. No armband = Saviors.

I agree. Vincent wears his hair a little longer than Frankie’s; Frankie (as you said) is often gambling. And while Franco is not exactly putting on a master class in acting, I can see differences in the characters.

Ugh, Jean-Nate. I remember it well, and boy, does it stink.

I’d never heard of this actress before The Deuce, and I’m amazed to see she’s 37. Age has a way of catching up with one, though (it sure as hell has with me). Unless there’s a time jump coming at some point, I can’t imagine she’ll continue to be able to pull off “undergrad” a whole lot longer without surgical help.

Now playing

Oh, I have heard this story! Thank you! I just didn’t remember the names. In a similar vein:

Chaz won’t need to crib his mother’s Oscar acceptance speech any time soon, but I thought he did pretty well with his character. The very first time I saw him in this role (the ep where Ally was chased through the supermarket by clowns), I didn’t realize it was him at all.

And Vincent’s hair is longer and parted on one side.

Am I the only one who found Cassidy’s rejection of Denis’s dog upsetting? I don’t want to hate Cassidy, but that really bothered me. (Disclaimer: any TV show or movie could kill off its entire cast and I’d find a way to accept it. Be mean to the dog or cat..or chicken *sob* or just about any other animal - and I’m a
