Did they add the U.P. on to the map? Or does Jeep still not believe it exists?

Eddie Bauer editions were a little more understated. Not as much leather and “working man” type interiors. They were the fully loaded models meant for the affluent type of Ford owner who didn’t want to be seen in a Mercury or Lincoln.

I miss Eddie Bauer editions.

I always thought this was a weird choice for HVAC to be on the descending bar like that. What’s the replacement, controls on the screen instead?

The caution at Daytona for rain is more or less for the banking, from what I’ve been reading on NASCAR’s decision. I don’t think we’ll see one at Road America, Watkins Glen or COTA. Charlotte we would see it for sure.

Yes, but Harley had a majority ownership of Buell, and licensing the Rotax engine would have cost Harley a boat load over just re-engineering one of their own engines. At the time, it made sense for Harley to just develop something in house (plus Harley’s pride being another factor) and Buell would be stuck with what

What’s interesting about the Firepower was that the case could have been made for it, but I think Chrysler didn’t know what to do with it. I imagine the failure of the Corvette XLR gave execs all the reason not to release another “fancy Corvette killer” and stick with the cheap to make Crossfire instead.

See if Ford can give you some of those Mach E engines! Hell, maybe you can get a Roadkill type deal and they’ll give you a development mule you can hack away parts from!

I guess the 1st gen Probe has had enough “futurization” done to it, so they went 2nd gen.

The current SS package is pretty high downforce

Thanks for the coverage of my favorite sport Elizabeth, I’m sure the clicks aren’t as high on NASCAR stuff, but I love it.

Everyone likes to make Harley the bad guy in the Buell deal, and it’s understandable because it looks like Harley killed a golden goose in their prime.

They once tested rain tires at Martinsville. One car testing worked great, got 2 cars out there and it was a shit show.

I hate this argument, because it’s missing the key point.

Take Chrysler show cars with a grain of salt. They’ve been putting out fantastic prototypes and then never bringing them to market for years. It’s nothing new, and will continue as long as Stellantis exists.

Moon Pie and Dr. Pepper is considered a balanced and nutritional meal in my family.

As a NASCAR fan, I’ve been a big supporter of NASCAR’s Green programs. Focusing on ethanol fuel, reusing or selling old tires, reusing chassis/engines/transmissions/suspension components for years if not literal decades, and making tracks use solar power and smart power management.

Relatively new” and “new” aren’t exactly the same thing, are they? Kinda kills the work of 10 years of initiatives that NASCAR has been working on.

Is it 2001 again? Porsche and VW apart?
