Pretty much all of their albums are concept albums, but my favorite of Kraftwerk's is 'Radio-Activity'. Supreme commitment to the concept.

I love Zappa and Joe's Garage, but man, there are loooong stretches of that album that are really shitty.

Rage Against the Machine is the 'real deal'? The lead singer, according to the internet, is worth $25MM. Tom Morello is worth $30MM. They are the machine.

    Umm, in your ass?

    Fuck Chuck Klosterman.

awww, I love King Crimson. . . 's earliest albums.

Masterchef tonight, yo. Get ready for the most amazing, most intense episode in the history of Masterchef!!!!!

I think the worst case scenario just in terms of sheer annoyance/apathy would be a Clinton vs. Jeb Bush election. I'm going to have to throw out my tv and radio if that happens.

I know there was a lot of focus on blown calls/etc from Game 2, but man, the Rangers have to focus on not giving up 5 goals. The way this series is going, no lead is safe.

Broad question here: is The Vicar of Dibley a good show? My parents' comedic/TV sensibilities couldn't be any further away from 'British comedy', yet my mom was telling me the other day that her, my father, and my grandmother watch and love it and I'd never even heard of it.

haha, don't worry about it. I've definitely written some long-ass sports posts on this forum before. You've got good points and I'm glad you wrote it.

As a Knicks fan, this makes me sad.

You clearly hate Seinfeld, Rock, and CK. Fine, I get that. You're biased against them, boiling down Jerry's comedy to 'cliched observations' and irrelevantly talking about Rock's minor movie roles instead of his stand-up. The special was about stand-up, not comedy in general. I don't care that Gervais was 'pitching

Anyone want to talk hockey? Great game last night, and I say that as a Rangers fan. The first 10 or so minutes of the game was blazing speed, and then the last 30 seconds of regulation was ridiculous. The Kings were in total shut-down mode in the 3rd period, great adjustments by them. In the first two periods, the

But a starting pitcher only pitches once every five games. You could put LeBron James on any team in the league and they'd be in the playoffs every year. Not so with a great SP.

Right on. Sometimes you don't even need to watch the game to see how blatant it is, you can just look at the box score and compare fouls/free throws from game to game. I can't stand LeBron James (constantly flopping and complaining), but there was that elimination game vs. the Pacers about a week ago where he only

Haha, yes. Gervais can't just sit there and laugh, he has to make a huge production about standing up and laughing louder than everyone else and repeating the punchline, even though like two minutes earlier he thought the joke was really stupid. It's almost painful to watch how much Gervais is trying to fit in.

That's not my point, because comedy is subjective. I'm just saying that you have three guys with loads more experience being a comedian than Gervais, who is a relative newcomer. Yet Gervais talks far more than everyone else, and most of his discussion is self-absorbed and not insightful.

Where is he saying that only this show should be thrown off the air? Tons of shitty shows should be thrown off the air. This show is just one of them. Talk about an overreaction.
