I have a question about the timing of the outrage surrounding Harvey Weinstein. Why did it take until now? Below is an article from three years ago where an Italian model accused him of sexual assualt. Why has nothing happened until now? I feel like I missed a Hannibal Burress-Bill Cosby moment.

I would guess David O. Russell. He is known to be verbally abusive to actresses on set. He groped his adult niece, so sexual harassment or abuse doesn’t seem far fetched.

I realize that people look to him for his enlightened stance on most issues and this is why his “silence” seemed strange, but why push him about the silence to begin with? He’s obviously an ally and obviously has bigger fish to fry right now helping save American lives in PR.
