Ok, I’ll be that guy:

I’m unsure that tattoo was done ironically.

I can’t even tell what is going on here

Man, somewhere I still have the original “The Hire” films on a slip case DVD that BMW sent me when I signed up for it. They were fantastic, and made before Clive Owen became a rather big star. I think at that point he had only made “Croupier”.

Expecting people to have responsibility for their actions is applying my own narrow view of experience? Sorry I don’t agree with that. I know that addiction is a rabbit hole, and a series of increasingly poor choices, until you are so far down you don’t even remember where you started from.

Which is still a choice in the first place. No one (reasonable) is going to say that addiction isn’t a disease. But they had to make (shitty) choices in order to get there in the first place. It isn’t like having cancer. I have little tolerance for people whom allow their addictions to put others, especially

So true. I live in Chandler and routinely forget that there is professional hockey here. It is faster to drive to Tucson from my house than Glendale.

I lived in Tucson for 36 years - you drive past it when you go to the airport down Kolb road. There aren’t really tours of it as far as I know. When I was in Boy Scouts we had a campout that was on Davis Monthan AFB, and we did get to go on a tour down one of the rows where they stored some of the rarer aircraft,

That movie was filmed in Tucson.

In fairness the only Ariel I’ve ever actually met was a guy.

It’s more like “One is one of the ugliest cars ever made, and the other looks like a standard 4 door hatchback”.

They did - they made an electric car that doesn’t look like a donkey turd. BMW on the other hand... Well the BM stands for something when it comes to the looks of the I3.

When I was about 15 years younger I drove from El Paso to Abilene on a single tank of gas - in a 1988 Honda Civic hatchback. It was a total distance of 488 miles, and only an 11 gallon tank. Still my record.

Just next to Cape Fear.

Labor rates are labor rates for the actual amount of time spent, not some made-up bullshit amount of time. I’m paying you for how much time it takes. You do a “7-hour” job in one hour, you get paid for one hour of labor. Either charge a fixed rate for the job, or spec out the number of hours for the job correctly. But

You know I really feel like Honda is dragging this out with the new Odyssey. It’s supposed to be a 2017 model year car, and 2017 is rapidly approaching. I bought my 2014 CX-5 in February of 2013. Obviously Honda isn’t going the same route. I really, really wish they would announce and show pictures so I could decide

Pretty sure you mean “waistfull” ;-)

That’s what, like 20MPH over? ;-)

Seriously? Cast iron relies upon the polymerized layer of fat over the top of the iron itself. Much like any polymer, it can and does absorb flavors. Make a curry in one and then clean it and make eggs. You really think that you aren’t going to taste curry in your eggs?

Since the NFL is a non-profit organization, and the cost of delivering games over the internet this way has essentially zero cost once it has been established, how then is charging $100 justifiable? Is that not then pure profit? I fail to see how this works. Yes, slightly tongue in cheek here, but the sentiment is
