Thank you for saying it. Sorry but crossing the double yellows on a non-closed course is taboo.

Despite my first car being a Commando, hence soft spot for them, this particular one is too far gone.

When my Uncle and I were going to the USGP at Indy we bought tickets the first year and they were crap. Found out that scalpers had way better and at better prices so we found ‘a guy’ and bought from him every year we went saving quite a bit doing so.

As a kid going to the 500 (was born during in ‘75, the race was my birthday present for 6 years) I never appreciated Neighbors and that song, I just wanted to hear the cars start. Now when I hear it all I have are memories of being there. Need to get back home again...

I maintain a local MTB singletrack trail by my house, I have a cargo-eBike so I’ll put my chainsaw in the rear basket and ride over. I get excellent looks from people when I do that ;)

I’m so glad my company moved locations and did not include showers in the remodel plans. Because of that I bought an eBike and just crossed 500mi in work commuting today. Using a Kill-a-Watt I figured out that it costs me $.05 to charge the battery for my 17mi round trip commute (consuming .47KWh) and using this

List incomplete, forgot celebrate my birthday. The story goes that my Mother was quite mad at my Father and the Dr. for paying too much attention to the Indy on Armed Forces Radio than me being born ;) I feel like I win in the end having been to the 500 8 times and every F1 race at Indy.

True but looking at the K5 with my non-automotive-engineer eye the K5 seems like it could very easily be converted to a liftback.

The K5 also offers AWD, so make the Stinger AWD only.

The problem with the Stinger is that the K5 exists. Yes the Stinger has advantages but the K5 looks so much better than the Stinger (I may be biased owning a ‘21 K5 GT-Line) but side by side the K5 just looks more modern and meaner which is ironic given the Stinger is supposed to be the sportier car.

If anyone is wondering he’s riding a RadWagon3 from RadPower, I have a RW4. Great bike :)

I’m surprised the DDE gang didn’t buy this as it’s from their local dealer and it has a gAteD MaNUal...

Recent findings show some (most?) biofuels are worse environmentally when you factor in how they are produced. I can’t see hydrogen being better giving, as far as I know, most hydrogen is a produced as a byproduct of oil refining.

Seriously, use something other than the firewood to *start* the fire then add as it’s going...

My Kia K5 has this as an option. If you hit the wipers it will automatically turn on the lights. Cleaning the windshield doesn’t count.

I own a Kia K5 GT-Line and unless Hyundai did something special to the Sonata Hybrid interior (doubtful) it’s not a quiet car, and I feel especially qualified to make this statement as I traded in a 2007 ES330. The Lexus was a bank vault compared to my K5 which has horrible wind noise. I will say the K5 is solid and

Was it really a Holden or someone that rebadged their Chevy SS?

Sure but that app is severely limited compared to an iPhone. It’s totally passive in that the use must launch the app and scan for devices. Nobody aside from the hyper-paranoid will scan their cars every time they get in and only the super nerds would do something like setup Tasker to do so.

Something like $5 each time you pop the fuel filler door. You want to fill up, it’s gonna cost ya. First X fillups are free.

A 2004 Passat Wagon? You nuts? “A potential weak point is the transmission, which sometimes do fail. Still, this comes in well under budget and would serve you well. something called ‘Service Position’  I had an ‘03 Passat and while the V6 might be more reliable, VW’s of this era are not cheap to maintain, if done
