No one is getting a mortgage for any amount without thousands of dollars in the bank, so this is obviously a case of him hiding his money to evade taxes.

What she really wants is for her friends (rich people) to be able to send their children to Christian private schools and get a big tax break to do so. Let the low income areas fend for themselves.  That way we have more Christians to vote Republican and more uneducated poor people that won’t vote at all.  Win Win!

How do we fix charter schools? Make the standard of education more strict? So they can’t do what they want and just be a funnel of public money to the rich?

I’m just a Nobody, but I’ve been thinking about Pete constantly. No one knows his struggle the way he does but I can empathize. I hope he finds the help he needs. I’m in the process of finding my own help and I envy the friends he has that have his back. He is so lucky and I hope he sees that, through the darkness.

Can I just say that I am so used to powerful men getting away with terrible acts, that I had to read this twice to make sure I hadn’t mis-read?

Oh my god. The person who rips my book would have his balls fed to him through his nostrils. BOOKS ARE FRIENDS. RESPECT BOOKS, DAMMIT. Even my six and three year olds learned this lesson early.
