Sure you’ll just let it roll until you’re denied a time sensitive loan / lose out on a great house offer because you wanted to cut your dr some slack, but you’re credit got fucked and you’re in collections.

Seriously people, mistakes happen?
I remember in the mid to late 2000's, when flying Delta, we were told my Brother (who was probably 5 years old) had come up as being on the no fly list. They took one look at him and corrected the issue on the spot.
Not just the outline. What the hell does this mean?
Wow, that is an absolute dumpster fire of a headline.
Yup. The egregious part to me is that the transmission is not affected by the engine oil. We could have never changed the oil and that wouldn’t be what borked the transmission. It absolutely fits right in with the “you broke the speed limit, warranty invalid” claim of this article.
Typical. It doesn’t matter to you, so fuck EVERYONE else.
Lapsing insurance on a late model is bonkers.
‘Cop says “You don’t look like you should be driving around in something like this” Whatever the hell that means.’
Some of us live near roads. My kids deserve to get a good night of sleep without hearing every jackwagon on their way home from the bar at 2am.
I had a lapse in insurance once. I was in college, and didn’t realize that my pops had cancelled my policy as part of the whole “you’re a big boy now” shtick. Welp, someone backed into my parked car and drove off and when I went to submit a claim, surprise surprise. Sometimes these things are just accidents. Although,…
Following too closely. The context is what makes it dumb.
Denied warranty for DIY oil changes? That’s ferrari-level dickishness
Looks like the factory tires for the Corolla GR are Michelin Pilot 4S 235/40ZR18. That ZR means over 168 mph is the speed rating (ZR is kind of unspecified in that it means above V rating, equal to W and greater). I think it should be fine at 114mph.
Doesn't Toyota include an HPDE day with any GR purchase?
If you are not supposed to drive over 85, why doesn’t Toyota govern it for 85? I’m sure there is a rev limiter on the engine. Do you void the warrantee if you rev over 4,000 RPM even if it is not rev limited to something like 6,000? If you slam on the brakes to avoid a crash, is that abusive? This seems like BS from…
I honestly could care less whether there is actually any AG punishment handed down in this case. Jail time would be nice (as another commenter mentioned), but I’m fairly certain the automotive lobby is strong enough to support it’s dealers and keep fines to a minimum.
Dealers really are such absolute scumbags.
A dealer ripping off customers?
Oh, hey, we bought our 2012 Accord there. I remember they did the nitrogen in tires thing and wanted to charge us for it (most likely they just put green caps on the valve stems). When we’d take it in for service after the maintenance plan ended, they always added a $2 “document recording fee” to the bill. What the…
