When the mafia lends money to someone and they can’t pay it back, so they load the person’s business up with debt, pull out all the possible money, and crater said business, it’s called crime. When a PE firm does it, it’s called capitalism.

I would love to see the books from the week before the PE firm took over, to

Just a point of clarification / definition from the comments: a venture capital firm invests in early-stage, risky “startups”... moon shots that will probably fail, but could change humanity (at least, that’s the purest and most generous definition).

Once I was denied bording with my emotional support wolverine, and my bone spurs came back...

Not to mention obviously able to afford a lawyer for a nuisance lawsuit.

Assuming she filed in California, whats the over/under on this getting torpedoed via the Anti-SLAPP code? Seems like a whole lotta bullshit.

If I had stage 4 cancer I would not waste my limited time on this earth suing an airline in a case that will likely fail

People and their entitlements when it comes to dogs is getting out of hand. Went grocery shopping this weekend with the wife, and while we were at the local store, I saw 6 different people walking through the aisles with dogs on leashes. None of them had any indication that were “Service Animals”. (Vests or anything

I never personally had any issues with dogs being in the airplane cabin. I love dogs, except for chihuahuas, and generally am very happy to be seated next to one. However I was on a flight where a young child several seats behind me had a violent allergic reaction to a “service” dog that turned out not to be a real

Depends on what you mean by “chemo.” A person in remission can be receiving chemotherapy as part of a maintenance program (as I am, knock wood, crossed fingers, etc.)

If one has a life-supporting medical procedure scheduled, one does not go on vacation on the other side of the country right before it.

As soon as I read “French bulldog” I knew where this was going.

1000000%. If you can afford first-class tickets, you can afford a Xanax prescription so you can ... *checks notes* tolerate a flight without your cancer coming back. (What a shitty thing to allege.)

French Bulldog is high risk of death when flying. Brachycephalic syndrome.

She was also in remission. So chemo wouldn’t be happening.

Why are some dog owners such mental cases?

I smell privilege. Flying around in first class with your “emotional support animal” all while still receiving cancer treatment, is definitely a 1%er problem.

Wrong! French Bulldogs can be service animals! The ones that are wear a baguette carrier and a little pouch for Gitanes cigarettes!

Of course it’s a FBD owner

You buried the lede...

A California woman is suing JetBlue, claiming the airline’s refusal to allow her emotional support dog to accompany her last year led to a resurgence in her Stage 4 cancer.
