Coast Guard pilots are naval aviators. They most certainly don’t have any issues landing on ships. Its faster to use the hoist for transfer though. Zumwalt is also on pre-commissioning builders trials, so the deck might not be NAVIAR certified yet as well.

Saving lives; yep, I’d consider that money well spent.

Are you sure that isn’t Cary Elwes?

Depends on how early the press car in question was built. Not all can be sold.

Meh, it would be better under the plane.

Guaranteed they wouldn’t allow passengers up there during take off or descent, so that means you would only get to ride up there when above the cloud line.

So all you’d really see much of is blue skies and have no shade from the sun.

So let’s get this straight, the tippy top trim level of a performance pony car puts down slightly more horsepower than the base model sports car slotted above it? ......ummmm.....who cares? The Corvette still probably puts the power down better and is also probably still faster because it’s lighter. Also, I doubt many

does this mean they can finally work on their Formula One car now?

How about something ridiculously classic like a Model T or something? Would that be too expensive? It surely wouldn’t depreciate.

What i see when i see Billy with hair:

I think the NSX looks 100 times better than the bimmer that poops 911’s, but that’s all subjective. I think the NSX’s trump card is that it’s a Honda, and therefor will be as reliable as the engineers could make it.

no, no, no -

Voltage doesn’t matter.

CURRENT matters.

Many, many moons ago I built a plugged-in high voltage power supply for a class - it reached up to 26,000 volts. At that voltage, though, it could barely produce 4 milliamps. Basically it just gave you a tingle.

That’s why a normal static shock which reaches 20,000 V

It’s voltage+amperage that kills. As said by other people, tazers operate at the 50K volt range, but have a low amperage so they don’t kill (Usually)

I’m buying the Bugatti brand. I’m bringing honesty back to the auto industry. I’m scrapping the whole ‘heritage’ bullshit and moving into full-blown truth-in-advertising. This is based on the people who buy Bugattis, no longer about the cars themselves.

On the other side of the lineup rainbow, the 350 HP Focus RS, uniquely equipped with all-wheel drive and a magic-like drift mode, will soon be available to reek havoc at track days, rallycrosses, twisty mountain roads, and all that beautiful, beautiful stuff.

Running a 2014 spec car, with an updated nose for 2015 regs, with a 2014 Ferrari engine. The whole season was basically to keep the team running until 2016.

Top Gear, as an entity, was around long before 2002 when Clarkson brought it back. I realize that during the 02 to 13(?) run it was the best motoring show people had seen, but hell, May didn’t even come along until season two. It’s changed again, and with a proper car person (although a fanatical devotion to the wrong

“Why God waited nine years, I have no idea. But we’re happy.”

The child doesn’t have enough leverage or strength to turn the bike... but then again people don’t know two wheeled physics. It’s counterintuitive.

Yeah this is programmed in. You need to pull over for emergency vehicles even when they are not pulling you over. Autonomous cars need to be aware to do that too.

Too simple, right?
