If they are like other racing wheels there is a spline that they have to match up with to secure the wheels. Sometimes the spline is on the hub and the holes help line things up so the pit crew can get the wheels on faster.

As a video producer of many years I have run into this so much it hurts. Here is the moral of the story folks: If you have no reasonable expectation of privacy (in a public place) I can film you all day long for no damn reason and getting upset about it means nothing to me legally.
I'd like one, but why the heck is it near impossible to find one made by a reputable company like Sony or Samsung? It's like you pay either $25 or $250, and the $250 one still isn't from a well-known company.
