I have a buddy who used to be married to a woman who was a caregiver to another woman who is of reduced mental capacity. Unfortunately, she’d been her room mate for years and wasn’t about to move on once she got married to my buddy.
Unfortunately for him, he wasn’t marrying one woman - he was marrying two... and…
She’s so full of shit. Like Trump, Griffin lives for publicity, good or bad. She did this knowing exactly what the reaction would be and she knew her career wouldn’t suffer because the Red Staters weren’t part of her fan base to begin with (she may have also thought that this would make her a hero to the left.) She…
I live in chigger-country and appreciate being able to go outside my house without being eat up with bug bites. Also: snakes love high grass, so I’d also like to walk in my lawn without fear of stepping on one of those as well. Lastly, I like to actually go outside and do stuff and not have ass-high grass all around…
It works both ways. I am a slightly right leaning libertarian, so pretty much on the opposite end of the political wheel as the loud and active socialists here in Seattle.
Be good at your job.
“My politics comes from the Washington Post!” The video game!
If ever there were a dev to give the “No Early Access” exception to, it’s Klei. Invisible Inc. and Don’t Starve are incredible games that both passed the test of Early Access.
The adolescent brain residing in my grown man’s body is having something of a difficult time with the title of this game...
After playing Don’t Starve for many 100's of hours I can say Klei is an outstanding studio. This is a must purchase.
Klei is a great developer. I’m not really into getting Early Access games though, but I may make an exception for them. I notice for me that the game is discounted to $19.99. A surprise, to be sure, but a welcome one.
Went with my boyfriend and a mutual friend to a kink/fetish event at a nudist campground in southeast Louisiana (maybe someone knows which one I’m talking about, maybe not). There was no one feeling ashamed of how they looked naked, and it was actively encouraged that—assuming you were comfortable with it—you be nude.…
Eh, I think I get you. Personally, if a game is engaging, I’m cool with who or whatever the protagonist is.
You hit on something here: everything has to be a fucking #movement anymore.
Something can be inclusive and not be political. The word political has taken on a lot of ugliness and divisiveness in recent times. And just like we condemn words based on their common meanings (like queer or midget or retarded) I don’t like when people try and slap the “political” label on something just because it…
People complaining about videogames being diverse is like people complaining about the new Star Trek being diverse. I mean one of the biggest games in history, Street Fighter 2: The World Warriors did exactly what Overwatch did.
I’m going to say this once and once only. The fact that you talk about diversity, worry about a lack of diversity, or celebrate something for diversity means that you are actually separating people based on gender, race, sexual orientation, etc. You become the racist. When you stop caring about whether something is…
Deserving and getting are two different things. Our legal system isn't perfect, so lots of people who deserve some prison time or some kind of judicial punishment don't get it, and vice versa. I never advocated giving prison time to anyone without a fair trial, so don't act like I did...
It's the practice of trying to take from someone through subterfuge that I have a problem with, codified into law or not. Anyone who claims to be part of the "99%" yet strives to take what is not theirs through legal loopholes is a hypocrite. Regardless of whether or not you claim a side in that ridiculous divide,…
There's no such thing as something for nothing. You either earn it yourself, or you're getting it at someone else's expense. If taking from others in any form to avoid making your own way becomes the way a sizeable portion of the population tries to live, we will all suffer for it.
