Great book with wonderful Kerry Gammill cover art. 1300 pages of monster movie wonderfulness, and the first thing I thought of when I saw that poster.

In the trailer, the lower half of Godzilla’s body looks so bloated that it looks like someone shoved Manda head-first up Godzilla’s ass. Fuck it.

Very nice to look at. I’d like to see more of this story.

Kaiju fan since the 60's here - first time I saw Destroy All Monsters was in a theater in Latham NY - and I have always managed to force a suspension of disbelief for most of these movies. I think I’ve reached my limit of tolerance on this one. The design is terrible, the tail is so out of proportion it’s ridiculous,

Tried to play in the White Orchard tutorial, couldn’t get the hang of it, failed miserably, ignored it for 600+ hours. Love this card though.

Now playing

OK, so maybe not the best, but still fun.

I want that song on my iPod.

My dog Pepper (English setter) would play wiffleball catch for minutes on end by passing it back to me using his nose. He got quite good at returning any errant throws and occasionally would give me the “is that the best you can do?” look.

I love Highlight Reel, but I must be getting old. I can’t follow what’s going on in Overwatch in any of these clips. I could pretty much figure out what’s happening in any of the other games I haven’t played, but this one? Jeez.

grumble gripe...I hate this Vimeo shit, they never play for me no matter what I try on my settings. feh.

Certain parts of the Brit media and political arenas have been notorious at “viewing with alarm” for ages now. It’s the same stupid pet tricks at the root as the transgender fear blitz going on in the US; present some group or object as a threat (to the children!) and milk it as a distraction for all it is worth. This

I don’t normally squee, but I sure as hell did when this started downloading earlier today. Woo hoo!

The Ernie Pyle books from WWII, “This Is Your War” and “Brave Men.” For boots on the ground dispatches from the African and European fronts; for the dirt and grim humor. You get a real feel for what these men were dealing with, including the stupidity of higherups. Also good are the Bill Mauldin cartoons.

I tried Ghostery after I heard AdBlock might be selling personal info. I just went back to AdBlock because Ghostery disallowed starring these comments and restricted interaction on Gawker. Gotta get some words in before Thiel takes over.

Alan Young also popped up as the Time Traveler’s friend in the 1960 film of The Time Machine.

I remember the old days at SF cons in the states; costume contests frequently had some nudity.

Already put in my pre-order. I guess that “book” about Toussaint that you can get in the main story was a nice little tease for this. I just started playing the first Dark Souls for the first time; I am going to drop it like a hot potato when Blood & Wine comes out.

You, too? Shit.

Soapdish?! Love it as it is. It’s one of those movies I will stop on every time, if it’s on cable and I’m channel surfing. Isn’t Telenovela the current version?
