I have a real soft spot for “X The Unknown.” Put kindly, it’s a riff on the Quatermass series, with the science hero on the job. It’s got some gruesome bits and is well worth watching if you’re in a B-movie mood.

As a long-time Red Sox fan, I have to say that this is in line with the biggest wastes of money I’ve ever seen from this team. In addition, now I get to watch Dumb-rowski gut the team of its good young players. What a crock.
