Does this mean no more Gif parties?? I really needed that break at the end of my week.

Now where’s my picture of the Sphinx from the Mystery Men film, when I need it? He makes as much sense.
Good luck, but...oh lord, not you too!
Good luck at your new gig. Being slow at these things I hadn’t heard of Vocativ before; looks interesting, now book marked.
Botox! Stat!
I used to walk all over that city when I lived there. Vehicle exhaust/smog or not, my health was better and I didn’t start gaining a lot of weight til I moved out.
Let me add my thanks for your stellar work here. Long may you wave. I just added Wonkette to my favorites (the Gawker blog as a destination is off my list).
Please tell me, with all the crap Gawker Media is pulling, that the Gif Party is here to stay. It’s a great way to celebrate the end of a work week!
Luke, thanks so much for all the Witcher content. Your articles got me interested enough to buy the game, and after 300+ hours I still love dropping into it.
My Neighbor Totoro for film or Oremonogatari for anime if you want to show it can be sweet and funny.
The Rook is a lot of fun and I’m looking forward to the sequel novel, whenever it arrives. That said, this is some accountant thinking, “we got a name brand on this thing!” Her name doesn’t mean she can write. I read that first Twilight book after my daughter got it. I would have found the time to at least try a Rook…
There’s never a bad time for this video. I needed it after the news today.
Now I’ll buy it.
The O’Malley book was a lot of fun, I really want to see a sequel but it’s not out any time soon. Meyer will ruin it.
I’m looking forward to tomorrow, to see if this gets discussed on any of the intensively daily fantasy-sponsored sports programs.
Radix!? Wow, I thought I was the only one who read that. Definitely a mind-blower but not the first story I thought of in this context. read a lot of Attanasio’s books after that.
Hands down - the Illuminatus! trilogy by Robert Shea and Robert Anton Wilson. Blew my mind at an impressionable age and has affected how I deal with “reality” ever since.
Dammit, I enjoyed Grantland. I was still reading the basketball articles. Longer-form writing is endangered and it was nice to be able to read articles that took more than 30 seconds to read. I refuse to go to ESPN’s website so I guess I’m SOL now.
Too many GMs these days want to meddle with the day to day decisions that rightfully should be on the manager. It’s so much like the umps with the ever-increasing “look at me!!!” behavior.
AIG was one of the primary causes of the 2008 economic crash due to its emphasis on derivatives. As far as I know those employees who were directly involved were never punished. Don’t give your business to those bandits.
