I don’t understand this resolution at all. The owner went nuclear on Corden and called him out publicly, so Corden looks bad (continues to!). But then all it takes is Corden to say “I’m sowwy” and apparently abusive behavior to the staff is forgiven? Why would you want that back? Does Corden have that many devoted

Definitely. AI has come a long way, but still trips over some easy grammar/sequence mistakes like:

You can't convince me that this was written by anything other than cliclbait-generating AI.

Yeah, this was my experience as well, though because I bounced off it I also never checked out Hit Monkey, but now it sounds like I should.

No clue. Doubt they release those numbers. It was highly praised critically though.  For whatever that’s worth these days...

If we don't get another season of Hit Monkey, we riot.

Meh. I actually forgot this was even a thing. It was... fine, but a bit of a slog to get through, honestly.

The woman is Keke Palmer, she basically outed herself in an Instagram post she did. I can’t think of one well intended, not being purposely malicious, joke that would cause me to complain so hard a movie would shutdown. People have a right to be offended by whatever, but the continued scarlet lettering in the media is

Fare thee well, Alex. I remember when our movie came out I lobbied to try and get AV Club to review it (as it actually starred a beloved comedian and an actor from a possibly more-beloved cult movie), and when that ship sailed I thought “well maybe we’ll wind up getting hilariously dunked on in Home Video Hell.” Would

Okay man. You are committed to blaming Jason Sudeikis for the actions of someone he had no idea even existed, even though you haven’t even the slightest hint of a clue about and zero practical experience with what is involved in this process. Go for it, my dude. I, as a woman, very much appreciate your mansplaining

He didn’t repeat an error. He made his own error based on his own bad judgement. There’s nothing wrong with the Deadline article, which again, did not specify the (frankly irrelevant) gender of the person in question. I’m certainly not defending the likes of William Hughes, senior celebrity correspondent of The AV

$25 an hour?! Shit, sign me up!

Why does the fact she is a woman matter for this one exactly?   She got served legal papers. Happens to many people. Usually at their homes but celebs have this habit of dodging those people so sometimes they have to get tricky to get those papers to them.  It was hardily “humiliation”

I can find humor in car accidents if one of them is caused by an 18 wheeler carrying nothing but whoopie cushions and Groucho glasses and mustache gag toys.

The reason all this hurts so bad, is because many of us have been reading the AV Club since the 90s.

Wow.

This was definitely reported as being a female process server, but such pesky facts would fuck with your obvious intentions here, wouldn’t they? You didn’t write ‘a process server’. No, you wrote ‘a man’, as if the term itself is inherently repulsive. How dare ‘a man’ inconvenience a heroic empowered professional

Blog posts more like.

And misuse apostrophes and semicolons in at least four of them.

It’s pretty funny that she got served custody papers while introducing the movie she made with the guy she left her husband for.

Dou you know how you prevent shit like that of happening to you?

When a process server look for you at your home address or office you receive him or make an appointment for a later date, instead of trying to avoid and dodge it, because that’s how you get this kind of situation. Respect the job of the others and they
