You missed a really good opportunity to type 'Ape Lincoln' there. Just sayin'.
Well, they did that last week, in a way, by airing an episode Judd Apatow wrote before he was rich and famous - so they clearly got their priorities somewhat messed up.
What was your worst relationship (romantic or otherwise) that did manage to help you creatively?
I haven't listened to a lot of new music this past year, but here goes:
Ja, op 1 (en meestal ook 2) januari wordt hier niet echt veel uitgespookt. Ik ben trouwens ook afkomstig van Limburg (Bocholt en Peer, die kanten), maar ben er al dertien jaar weg; dat moet weer lukken.
Yeah, those things will give you a toothache, and they're way too sweet.
Oh, but we also have all those things. Brussels isn't all that bad - I lived there for three years - but Ghent's just nicer, more scenic, and it's got that small town charm.
Indeed, and thanks; I hope you had a good time! A friend of mine even moved to Brussels because he spent way too much time at bars in Ghent, so yeah: in that way, this city can be quite counterproductive.
I'm also from Belgium (Ghent), and I agree: Christmas isn't that big of a family thing around here. My friends and I usually see it as an excuse to get together, play music, and eat and drink way too much. But that's what we usually do.
Thanks! A lot of my usually pretty music-savvy friends don't understand my disdain for anything Supertramp. There's just nothing about that band I even remotely like.
Ugh. To me, that video and song perfectly capture everything that was wrong with the nineties. I was a teenager then, and if punk hadn't broken, I don't know what I would've done.
Are you sure? I thought it was Radio 4's 'Dance to the Underground', from their 2002 album 'Gotham!', which is why I thought they used it. The two songs do have very similar basslines, so I'm kinda in the middle on this one.
To be fair, he did make considerably fewer lampshades of their skins.
Got Ham?
That first song playing at 'The Flea', the street urchins' market, is Radio 4's 'Dance to the Underground', and it isn't all that horrendous. Fun Fact: it's from their 2002 album called 'Gotham!'. https://www.youtube.com/wat…
It's called 'pregnancy'.
So, basically, it's the bloodless Van Helsing/The Mummy/LXG crap all over again. Ugh.
I made a pretty nice one of Throne of Blood: http://oi61.tinypic.com/5ey…
