Funny thing is, I made the exact same screencaps of A Field in England, Her and Days of Heaven.

Nick Offerman from Parks & Recreation eeeeats bits of young female celebrities!
I'd say Radcliffe's more than decent in his role, but what ultimately ruined this movie for me is the incredibly far-fetched ending - which was too bad, after a pretty good build-up.
Well, one half (where I come from) speaks Dutch, and a small percentage speaks German, so yeah: we're pretty much a glorified three state point inbetween France, Germany and Holland. But hey, we're doing okay: fries, saxophones and the best beers in the world gotta count for something, right?
Not to mention that French fries were invented in Belgium.
With Source Code, End of Watch, Prisoners and Enemy, I'd say Gyllenhaal already had quite the impressive run lately, so calling this his 'breakout' sounds a bit strange. Still, I'm really looking forward to this.
Next thing you know, Jimmy Hoffa shows up to claim Johnny Tightlips is a blatant ripoff.
His baby's on fire.
If anything, it's the perfect 'long song'. I've put it on plenty of times to get a drink and go to the bathroom.
Although I've never consciously heard an Avenged Sevenfold song, this gimmick account still cracks me up. Honestly, it took me way too long to figure out what the hell 'a7x' stood for.
I'm a big Stones fan (especially Exile on Main St.), but I think 'Rocks' is a great tribute and a good song.
Great song - I play it a lot at parties - but it's worth mentioning that the drum beat was stolen from a true classic, Sly and the Family Stone's 'Dance to the Music'. Check it out at 0.47: https://www.youtube.com/wat….
I've just recently discovered Utopia, and subsequently binge-watched season one and two over a couple of days' time, so I'm really disappointed in Channel 4's decision to cancel it. Although I sensed a severe drop in quality during the second season, it still grabbed my attention 'till the end. So many questions…
To be fair, Iggy has quite the dirty dance in him, and he rarely stands in corners.
It's Tom Waits, but yeah, I agree.
The sad thing is that Kurt Cobain was actually a KISS fan, judging from this cover: https://www.youtube.com/wat…
True, but the best Belgian movie in this genre is still Man Bites Dog.
That picture reminded me of that time, when I was seven, I snuck down the stairs to watch Kiss of the Spider Woman on TV, behind my parents' back. 'Oh cool!' I thought, 'a movie about a female Spider-Man! Awesome!'
Exactly: I like this movie, but mostly for what could have been. It's clear that great big hunks of backstory and character development were thrown out. What should've been a sprawling epic of true genius, ended up as a badly edited patchwork with no sense of pacing whatsoever. If there ever was a movie I'd love to…
