My friends and I have been big Local H fans since middle school, and usually we split between whether 12 Angry Months or Pack Up the Cats is their best album. Their first album, Ham Fisted, and Here Comes the Zoo are probably their most uneven albums, but they are an incredibly consistent band overall.

The CEO of a Silicon Valley tech giant becoming the world's second best Wii Tennis player sounds like the plot of a really shitty Infinite Jest sequel.

I'm sure this is just a simple statement of fact, but I'm reading the subtext as, "Don't blame me if that movie turns out to be shit."

Oh, she knew. She just came to the realization that her boyfriend was kind of a douche figured that David had done her a favor in the end.

I'll admit that part of the hate comes from feeling like I've been burned once again by Ridley Scott. Like most Scott movies, it looked nice, and Fassbender turned in a performance so good that the film didn't really deserve it. (The scenes of David on the ship alone are the highlight of the film).

That scene is even worse than you describe it because the same character is scared shitless for the entire first part of the film, but all of a sudden he become super curious.

You're a monster.

I haven't gotten around to Legion yet because there are so many superhero shows. I think SHIELD's only competition are Jessica Jones and Peggy Carter. But those shows had far shorter seasons, and even Jessica Jones at times seemed to struggle to fill thirteen episodes with enough plot. But, man, do I miss Peggy Carter.

I hope that this fantastic season will make people finally realize that SHIELD has been a good show for a long time. By the second half of the first season, you could already see it shifting gears. It's easily one of the best superhero shows on the air.

I'm one of those who thought the book sucked anyway, so it bothered me less that the movie was also crappy. Even the promise of Fincher as director won't make this enticing enough to actually see in a theater.

That's a real bummer. This is easily one of the sites best recurring features.

That part of the film was poorly handled to put it mildly.

Out here in Massachusetts it's also commonly used.

Moxie is…interesting tasting.

Business Insider recently ranked it second in the United States.

Who abducted your inner child and what did they do to it?

The Art Museum is seriously underrated.

Pop is an inherently better term. It's fun, and it's an onomatopoeia. Soda is bland and boring, like the people who use that term. And don't get me started on people who call water fountains the "bubbla'."

Disney isn't making enough money off the old Timon and Pumba.

Um, Gabriel Knight and Tex Murphy would like a word with you.
