He only produced Predators!

It looks like Hollywood is playing another round of, Hey, I Remember That Title.

I'm feeling an unusual sensation in my heart as if it is suddenly warming.

I liked the ending. The movie reminded me of a Twilight Episode in a good way. Even in horror films, most movies let someone survive, even if the killer lives to kill another day, so it was kind of refreshing when the creature made it to Earth. I can't imagine that playing well with audiences, however.

I played the human campaign with a borrowed copy. I love these games, but they are a time suck.

Well, that's what they get when they put a corpse in the driver's seat.

Season two of True Detective was a clusterfuck, but it was hardly the worst season I've television I've seen. It also had a few strong moments and characters. I'm down for a third season.

This will be an interesting book to adapt to a show. At first, it starts out like a regular slave narrative, but once they get to the underground railroad, which is an actual railroad underground, then it goes into some weird directions. I could see them make this story take place in a steampunk version of antebellum

Man, I wasted so many hours of my life on this game back in the day. That's why I don't play real time strategy games anymore, but this is tempting me to go back just one more time. I think this is how it feels right before someone relapses.

Clark!

I started this weekend watching Loving, which was an interesting take on the civil rights pic genre. The case itself mostly plays out in the background, and instead the film focuses on the couple at the center. Joel Edgarton should have received more notice for his performance. You could do a reading of the film that

I got drunk and watched Independence Day Resurgence a few months ago. Maybe I needed to drink a few more beers, but it was an absolute slog to get through. The movie was joyless.

I blame all of those lame "Not My Superman!" nerds for that awful line in BvS.

I sincerely want this movie to be good. Batman v Superman wasn't a good film, but I thought it was legitimately trying something new with the superhero film, even if it didn't work. Unlike Suicide Squad, I didn't absolutely loathe BvS.

I hope. I still go out of my way to watch his movies, and I think he's turned in a handful of good to great films in the 21st century, but some of his recent output has been demoralizing.

And I thought the Ohio flag couldn't get any cooler.

So after directing Big Eyes, it looks like Tim Burton decided that actually, on second thought, he really likes it when studios drive up to his gothic mansion with trucks filled with money.

Why hasn't anyone told Father John Misty that punk rock's dead?
