Anyone can reevaluate a flop after its release, but reevaluating a flop before it even comes out? Now that takes talent.

It's actually a damn fine performance. Unlike other British actors who have won the statue, Rylance approaches the role in a subtle, understated way. He's not turning in a caricature of a historical figure. Of all the actors up for the award, I think he probably deserved it the most.

Like most of his stuff, the album is kind of a grower. Listen to it alone late at night, and I think it will start to unfold for you.

Even with digital music, I mostly just listen to an album all the way through. For me, the album is still the best way to experience music, but I'm sure people who are used to streaming probably prefer single tracks from artists.

That MTV News segments is fantastic. Thanks for that!

The only part I enjoyed was the little mystery that occurs when they're staying in that small town that bets on when an old car will fall through the winter ice come spring time. I remember thinking this could have been a cool short story if it weren't surrounded by a

Why try and bum me out by reminding me that Kings only got a single season. Cruel.

Looking a that photo, I'm assuming that at one point in their live show, Iggy Pop is going to sit on Homme's lap, and they're going to do a ventriloquist routine.

She's a talented lady.

I hadn't heard the origin story of A Bronx Tale. That's really fascinating. Thanks for a great interview!

Um, apparently you didn't see The Boy Next Door. She had to give a first edition copy of the Iliad as a gift and maintain a straight face. I'm surprised there wasn't even more of talk about her Oscar snub.
