Yeah, you can easily blow through Ico in a weekend. I'd be curious to hear how you think it stacks up to Shadow of the Colossus once you've beaten it.

That's Zelda.
Haha, it's always fun to ride the nostalgia train.
Lies.
Hah, nice. I had Lego Racers for the N64. Some pretty creative levels if I recall correctly...
Never played the sequel, but the original's opening blew my mind. Seeing thousands of falling bricks form the Lego logo never got old.
WHAT?!? SECOND ISLAND?!?!!?
Good point, I never thought of Ico as a silent protagonist because...well...he can speak...but the comparison is apt. For all intents and purposes he is silent, at least for the majority of the game. You also helped clarify my point that they brilliantly avoid the pitfall of forcing the relationship on the player. …
Blinded by nostalgia.
It feels good to finally play through Ico after all these years of purporting my love for Team Ico based entirely off one goddamn game (even if that game is Shadow of the Colossus).
The Assassin's Creed series' music is composed by Jesper Kyd, not Inon Zur.
It's a good question. Probably stems from gaming's relatively recent emergence into the mainstream. Probably the same reason we love to draw a distinction between so-called "hardcore" and "casual" gamers.
Hm. 'tis the season for a suin', ah spose.
This is the strangest product placement I've ever seen.
Yeah...but confirmation is always nice.
There's an interesting interview with Kellee Santiago over at Gamasutra:
Shh.......Valve Time....
I'll be wrapping up Arkham Asylum. Playing through it again has somehow made me even more excited for Arkham City. Can't wait.
I don't think Crysis is on Mac, but even if it was, I don't think I'd want to play it on my MacBook. Crysis will always be remembered for whatever graphical bar-raising it accomplished, and how it brought many a computer to its knees. Even if the gameplay sees zero added benefit to running the game at its highest…
Thank you kindly, sir
