I'm a big fan of portmanteaus. I'm also a fan of using the word "portmanteau" as much as possible.

I'm also unsure about platform-specific awards, the problem being exactly what you point out. Should it be a platform-exclusive title that wins, or does that place an unfair disadvantage against multiplat games? There are also plenty of games that don't fit neatly into any genre, so are they ineligible to win…
