Thank you for the great review! When I saw some early reviews that all complained about the bloat and minigames, I initially thought that “well, they are reviewers on a deadline, they might find all the open-world busywork annoying” but then with your reviews and more it seems that just about every professional game

You are not wrong. Even at the beginning of the game (past the prologue) I continuously felt like the game was visually too dark (even when I adjusted it for quality over performance settings and cranked up the brightness) and it just did not look very good. And then at the certain point in the story you allude to in

Speaking as an ever-busier and tired adult, a headline like this makes me feel even more tired. I’m OK these days with something more linear and focused and fun. Will all of these huge areas and planets be really fun and everything will feel unique and different? Probably not. It’s the same reason why I also doubt

Absolutely. :(

OK, maybe. We do spend more time with Jill over the course of the entire game than any other character. I loved going to the Ironblood Kingdom with her and cheered her on when she got her payback but after that her input into the story virtually disappeared. There were a couple more fairly sweet moments and the rest

Better than 15 or 13, sure. Best in the series? You must be high. :)

I love how all these points are about the cosmetics, the male characters, the little touches and stuff and not about the story or about the female characters. Because having finished the story it’s shi*t, it actually made me mad and undermined the goodwill I had towards the narrative in the first 20 hours or so of

I had the same initial reaction but after picking it up on sale and playing it, the janky graphics (and janky controls) faded into the background. The story, characters, investigative gameplay, and excellent voice acting make this a very worthwhile game for fans of VtM.

Devastating news. Fahey was a real legend and will be missed.

That’s glorious AF!!!

What’s even better is that we get both a dragon that DOESN’T breathe fire and one that DOES! I’d say this movie is getting at least half of Dungeons and DRAGONS right so far!

My experience too. If I want something deeper and more thoughtful I turn to World of Darkness games, or something like A Quiet Year. If I want a Lord of the Rings style game, there’s literally The One Ring or AiME or the old MERP all of which are excellent! Not every movie has to be “deep” and “thoughtful”, especially

The only picks I disagree with are Cults of the Blood Gods and Mordenkainen’s Monsters of the Multiverse. Cults of the Blood Gods is sitting right now as the worst reviewed book in the V5 product line on Drivethrurpg for good reason. It’s ridiculously expensive, provides very little of value to either players or the

Has Sony announced more PS5s being available for sale without resorting to scalpers, store sniping, etc.? No? Ok then. *goes back to sleep*

Uh, I’ve played in more D&D campaigns than I could count and “Hope you like classic rock, because it’ll likely be another skin-deep thrill ride more suitable for a theme park” pretty much sums up Dungeons and Dragons. Most D&D games aren’t deep, introspective, philosophical, high-brow literature and this movie (if the

You absolutely can. You can also weave between robots’ legs, scratch the carpet and take cat naps.

Lymphoma took my previous cat Loki a couple of years back. Not a day goes by I don’t miss the grumpy old man. Sometimes I still find his hair or a toy in darndest places. My sympathies to you. :(

Was going to say exactly this. I played a lot of oWoD and I have already played the Vampire 5e and the system works very well in play. I would say the failure rate is lower than it was in oWoD and resolution is faster.

Came here to say this. Please Bloodborne on PC with unlocked framerates!!!!!!

Stellaris is one of the best 4x space games around, and it is in my opinion the most approachable Paradox grand strategy title. That said, also in true Paradox fashion the tutorial is pretty terrible (fortunately there are many better YouTube tutorials out there), and they nickel-and-dime you with a billion different
