Originally thought this was a protest about the Maxx getting re-certified with absolutely nothing about the deficiency of design getting corrected...

That is more for safety in evacuation then stress damage.

I will take a goddamned biscuit and tea paring sampler delivered at my chamber doors. DON’T YOU DARE KNOCK! I will open them to receive service at the bottom of 3:15 exactly!

But think of all the times that a possible hijacking was thwarted by forcing people to dump a bottle of water then buy another for $7 in the terminal. Or those villains that use those nail clippers to crash things. OOH even better. Those people that they let through with play-dough for kids to play with that can

If you have the highway likes get an Insight. The Honda system acts as an electric booster to the engine and will work better on ling highway commutes over the volt/Prius setup.

The issue is the Volt’s hybrid system is a bust on long highway commutes. Just like most hybrid setups.
The thing is he also wants sports for the back roads. The rolling and heavy Volt isn’t exactly confidence inspiring around a city much less twisty back roads.

Answer. A house closer to work.

Also PLEASE let us know you have been tracking those miles for work to stub on taxes.

Good lord that resistance bulb is gonna melt it’s way out of that soon.  If you don’t wanna fork over the $15 to get the factory one back in then get an LED bulb for that side that will run a LOT cooler.

If you pop the side plastic off the radiators they ill be about $1.20 a pound right now.

Seeing David at the Dodge van races in Japan seems like a natural fit.

Agreed it will be a reduced value regardless of how the repairs are done as long as the repairs exceed a certain percentage of the car’s value. If the value is over 75% then the car is an economic total meaning if it was fixed and put back on the road it would need a salvage title and inspections as such.

Trying to imagine the gallon of urethane they used set that back glass and roof must have been a MESS!

For a normal manufacturer it’s spot by body gaps and uneven panel bond/seam sealer as well as weld locations. The issue comes from Tesla themselves having these inconsistencies straight from the factory floor.

Cars get totaled if the cost of repairs exceeds 75% of the value of the car. (65% in some states) The older a car is the less it’s worth and the harder parts get to find. The OEM parts on a car don’t really drop much in price the older a vehicle gets.  You buy an $80k car for $12k used and need a new front cover.

It’s not uncommon to repair a quarter panel by replacing it. the full structure can be replaced correctly too.
However selling it as minor cosmetic damage is the wrinkle here.
The amount paid out is about the cost of a top end Model S in China anyway.

Moral of the story.  Get you vehicles inspected BEFORE forking over

Soak the cans in some warm water prior to spraying. The results will be a lot better and smother for multiple layers. Especially in the colder weather.

Also one of those spray can trigger grips is a godsend for steady and uniform paint lines.

How to be king of the trailer park and not have an 8 year loan on a lifted silverado you wreck on occasion to pay the note.

take your damn star and GET!

They dropped the speed to about 20mph to do it safely.

If this was a 2 lane road the car would be in the ditch on the side and rolling after that rim seeks a grab on the grass.

Most small crossovers handle worse then their purpose built SUV counterparts. They are typically the car they are based on on stilts with a higher roof and seating.  It’s also amazing how much seat positioning will do for the feel of the more upright boxes as well.
