They can’t void your whole warranty (warranty act doesn’t allow that) nor does the wording say that (instead it is a Twitter guy saying that). What it actually says is Tesla doesn’t cover damage to the car if you fail to use the mode and damage it. This is going to be the case for most cars. For example a common issue

Leaving that stuff on won’t harm the car...it just gets annoying inside when the car things things are too close. If you’re the kind of monster that goes through roller brush car washes, then it’s always a good idea to leave the wipers OFF. that’s not new.

I don’t use the A/C from essentially Nov-Mar, heat is gas. My stove and water heater are both gas and my house isn’t that much bigger than listed. We are also not home for 50+ hours a week and all lights are off during the day.

I guess you better not schedule charging for late night hours lest a decepticon pops out of your garage come morning!

Car wash mode just closes all windows, locks the charge port, and disables windshield wipers, Sentry Mode, walk-away door locking, and parking sensor chimes.

My favorite story about these guys: The FL attorney that pushed FL to repeal its helmet law died in a motorcycle crash. And it wasn’t even someone else’s fault; he lost control of the bike while slowing down.

I think the Avant was even better. Loved these cars back in the day and years later even test drove an identical one but the AWD was acting odd when I test drove it so passed.

If you want to be pedantic, they weren’t called Audis yet, but the Auto Union 1000 SP Thunderbird clone was pretty nice.

No idea about the Norwegian wood. But I do build a lot of things out of Swedish chip wood. They hold up ok, as long as you don’t move it from where it was originally placed.

That is such and ugly bridge anyways, they worried about looks? more like costs.

As someone who grew up in South Carolina, this is *terribly unfunny.*

The people who fell for the AI image are stupid.

As someone working for another car manufacturer and doing mechanical engineering for battery packs this article is quite funny. But I can see where your confusion is coming from. This time at least it’s not a bug, it’s a feature.
