Imagine having your land cruiser stolen, then find out you're going to get $8k for it in this market. I'd be PRETTY concerned that sniper is coming after me if I was Steve's towing. I bet they took in $200k on those vehicles, and had to pay 90. That'll sure teach them.

Or the profits the tow company made either

This doesn’t sound like a win. The settlement sounds like bs that doesn’t reflect the replacement value of the vehicles or the personal items inside.

Totaled.

Please. People act like GM dropped a fantastic, high-value brand in Pontiac but the reality is that it was a “sporty” trim level of Chevy by the time they killed it. It will always be the smarter decision to kill it in favor of Buick.

Meh, since the recession GM has not been shy about culling brands. Daewoo, dead, Holden, dead, Opel/Vauxhall, no longer their problem. By 2050 they will sell one model and it will be an EV Silverado (and a Sierra, because GMC will never die).

What Do You Want to Know?

It’s not that bad.

There are a lot of people who would rather put $70k into their FD RX7 than buy a new Cayman/M3 or other equivalent vehicle for the same money. It’s not a great look to shit on other people for making a car into what they’ve always wanted, solely because you don’t like it. If the financial take is your only other

You mean, Bender Bending Rodriguez?

Very important that it has underglow. Because a car this subtle needs it and if there is automotive trend that will never go out of style, that’s the one. And what is a new engine without a cold air intake to suck hot air out of the tiny engine bay? No self respecting cars and coffee enthusiast would be caught with a

Angry robot chewing on a cigar with just a little sneer to its robotic lips.

The rear end looks really good to, but being a G35, it will sound like dog business the second you change the exhaust:

Over half of these ideas make no sense.

Toyota is not bland.....it’s even more busy stylistically than Honda.  Majority of Toyota products have cuts, creases, and fake vents all over the place.

I’ve known tons of people who want to learn to drive a manual when they find out that I do. Almost none of them want to own a manual. Much like how I want to be fluent in Spanish, but I don’t want to commit the time/resources to making that reality.

In other words, 63% of people polled at a James Taylor concert said they were likely to want to listen to laidback folk rock for 2 1/2 hours.

Yeah, for the same reason they’re buying vinyl records and stuff - it’s retro,

Compare that with car-sales data from CarMax: The used-car retailer says that in 2020, only 2.4 percent of the vehicles it sold were equipped with a manual transmission, compared to 26.8 percent in 1995.
