Seriously, I’m bored by Kylo Ren and I was annoyed through every redemption-teasing scene. The Star Wars franchise needs to “let the past die” and stop trying to walk us through the same damn beats with every damn branch of the Skywalker family tree. Kill his ass, already.

It freaking kills me that they bothered to introduce Phasma at all, “killed” her, brought her back, and then just killed her again. Why was she there in the first place? And if you’re going to bring her back, why not use her rather than give her a handful of lines and kill her again?

The plotting itself in Act 2 was pointless. What Rian Johnson was trying to do (I’m not sure I totally agree with his decisions) was take the usual harebrained Star Wars convoluted Hail Mary hero plan and make it fail. And fail spectacularly.

Agreed 100%. The staging of the scene was wonderful, as if he’d finally found the clarity that he’d been looking for... and then he dies. Because he’s tired?

is everyone convinantly forgetting that yoda corrects luke and basically tells him hes wrong. everyone keeps praising what luke says but forgets he changed his mind when yoda shows up.

...or for even less during the holidays, you could get a Dot or Google Home Mini and not have to press anything.
