That was the biggest thing to me, that the shooting was so “bleh.” The only sliver of fun I had was playing with friends and just goofing around, but that’s clearly only a fraction of what the game is made for.

I think this applies to all adventure games utilizing the episodic format. Despite modern adventure games having decision trees to make a play through unique, such games have little replay value, resulting in the seasons being marked down in price half-way into a season.
