I doubt that, I used to watch a ton of anime but for some reason just never got around to watching that one. Missed it when they had it in theaters a month or two ago as I was out of town.

From someone that never watched the anime, I thought it was great! The action was interesting, the music was interesting (but nothing I’d pull up a soundtrack to listen to), the visuals were great, I loved the cast, and the whole future aesthetic was wonderful.
