Yeah - it was ‘really hot’ during el nino as well - I’d say the nice cold spot forming to the west may be a sign that things will go back to ‘normal’ soon. I’m not a weather/climate scientist though and that’s just my ‘hey looks positive’ positive thinking being applied.

Exacerbated- yes. El Nino is gone but the effects will affect us for most of the rest of this year.

I’ll be honest - I clicked thumbs down because there was an article about it on Kotaku the other day.

It’s 2016 - Color doesn’t mean ‘black’ anymore. That was a 70's thing.

I don’t ever recall large stories about how the production staff held out/ held up/ or even were replaced due to demanding millions per episode fees, so yeah I think they deserve a fair salary.

Well now - lets see how principled they are over in North Carolina. Honestly we don’t need to be supporting the state with welfare money anyway. Big kids that are all grown up can afford to pay for their own bills after all.

Hasn’t the U.S oil demand been dropping every year for a while? China (being in development boom) has been the only thing driving demand and prices.

Fire Emblem is dead - lists at 39.98 (1 penny off) atm

Fire Emblem is dead - lists at 39.98 (1 penny off) atm

The word is Danzig.

I have a backlog of around 100 games on my PC to play - along with around two dozen on my PS4 - and a wishlist over 45 games long. For me to buy a game full price it has to be really f’n good - stuff like this - yup - I’ll wait for the 8 dollar version.

The story is being pushed on the left side of all of ‘Gawker Media inc.’ - I’m surprised at this point it’s not a post on Boing Boing too.

And this is why despite the mounds of drivel and refuse that one has to pour through - comment sections are still worth it in the end.

Well he’s imprisoned by the order of the first court. And this is the tricky part, because he may end up with a lawsuit on his hands. He claims he forgot the passwords. A court can’t charge contempt if the defendant can’t comply with the order.

I realize you are being sarcastic - it is rather ironic to note however that the only ‘dead zone’ that I’m aware of (referenced in this article) was caused by fertilizer run off from the farmers of the U.S.A. letting runoff enter the mississippi river. All of that nitrogen then created the ‘dead zone’.

No - your response elicited feelings on the subject I needed to say. That’s about it.

“A person can be compelled to testify in lots of ways that don’t involve torture and the ban against that shouldn’t be dismissed as just some prophylactic stuff that got caught up incidentally. Those other forms of compulsion also lie at the core of the right and you shouldn’t diminish them by suggesting that they do

I’m sympathetic to the notion of solitary confinement as a means to keep a prisoner safe or separate - however all evidence currently points to solitary as a pure method of punishment.

*sigh* against my better judgment - direct evidence that the 5th was about torture:

You: The 5th amendment was never about torture

Well I’m describing freenet as it’s explained by itself - honestly as I’ve not done a code review I could fuckall know if it does what it claims. It claims to route all requests forward and backward through multiple people.
