No, we’re on the same page. I just don’t get the compulsion to make it deeply unpleasant in a one-note way when the thing they were making was smart and funny and played to the strengths of what you had to work with.

God forbid they use a bunch of really charismatic actors with great chemistry to make a season where they solved some interconnected mysteries instead of having the characters utterly devastated as human beings every single season and their relationships torn down to bedrock.

Yeah, don’t come back unless Gatiss is out of the picture.

this show was so much fun in the first few seasons, but boy did it disappear up it’s own ass* in the last few.
