Joss Whedon wasn’t the problem. In fact, I would argue that bringing him on as an emergency director saved the film from an even worse fate. I’m sorry that your dark and edgy murderverse didn’t appeal to the masses, but it’s been 4 long years of unlikable and unfamiliar iterations of characters people wanted to see.
