well crap, this ruins my day.
As a car, its fine, as a Lotus, it sucks. It was under powered, and wayyyy too expensive for what you got. The Miata, in its first generation at the time this was released, was such a better car, and was basically a modern day Elan, done the right way. Had this thing come out as a honda or something, Meh.
Oh damn, I love those things.

No Fire Extinguisher?
Its not a long stretch of road, but extending I-355 from I-55 down to I-80 in the southwest burbs of Chicago has been a godsend. It's made road trips to Three Floyds much easier.
Reading fail
Mine had the new Pentastar V6 in it, and while the transmission was a bit sluggish in kicking down, once it did, it was pretty quick. It was also the quietest car I have ever driven though, at 80mph it was so quiet in the cabin.
