And you’re a fucking idiot who can’t detect sarcasm.

Translation: the problem isn’t that all these other people were raped, the problem was *a character that I like* was raped.

Get rid of Max’s iconic car in the first few minutes of the flick.

Yeah, a lot of people seem to forget that this film follows the same structure of the last two Mad Max films. Max wanders around, finds woman with a group of people, helps said woman with her problems and those with her, and at the end he leaves on to the next great adventure. He’s just a character along for the ride

That’s my impression of the Mad Max films too. Sure, his stories are interesting. But the stories he’s witnessing are even better. Especially this one.

I don’t think Max was a sidekick in his own movie. He was more of the, ahem, vehicle through which we witnessed Furiosa’s journey. Which is in line with previous Mad Max films (excluding maybe the first one).

The movie is, thankfully, a testament to what can happen when you let the creator create without second guessing everything.

You could ask this about 90% of any scene from any movie or television show ever created. It’s a silly question to ask.

This is very Slate-y.

Gas is not a problem anymore. That was The Road Warrior’s thing. Water was the big deal in Fury Road.

There’s a place called gas-town, I don’t think gas is almost nonexistent.

In case anyone cares to actually UNDERSTAND the issue, residential water usage is a tiny part of a much larger problem. Focusing on the insignificant stuff is exactly what shifts attention from the real problem. California agriculture uses the vast majority of the water, 80%. Residential uses just 20%. Of that, only

Obviously Kanye’s place is that big for his wife’s ass and his ego.

As someone elsewhere pointed out, girl-on-the-left uses her teeth as a shield and is a dirty rotten cheater:

I can’t tell you how devastated the Patriots organization must be now that you refuse to recognize their Super Bowl wins.

more like roger badell.

My personal best stands at 35 years, 3 months, 4 days. And counting.

I’ll translate, because it’s somewhat hilarious (and I’m Chilean). The guy is saying:
(0:00) “Llanquihue National Reserve, Las Cascadas (Waterfalls) Sector.”
(0:12) “Few people come here. I was brave and adventurous.”
(0:20)“Beautiful. There’s the volcano in the back -”**Calbuco erupts** “ -wow...”
(0:34)

That also wasn’t actually part of the movie. At no point in the movie was Love the Dimension relied on for any of the physical interactions that took place. The only use of love was that Coop’s love of his daughter, and her love of him motivated them to find a solution, to not give up.

Sigh.
