Because you have a soul, you silly old bear.

I agree that the lack of an app on the Xbone is glaring.

Plucky teens? Did you mean to post this on a Mazerunner review? Who is the plucky teen in this movie?

I think you have no idea what this movie is.

I’m not sure this is the right movie for this rant.

That’s why I was so fascinated by the holographic girlfriend. In some ways, she was the least human character of all, but in other ways she was the most emotional and determined. There’s a blurry line as to whether she’s actually wants to become a corporeal being to be with K or if her devotion to K is programming - a

I don’t think the takeaway was that “having kids” is what makes someone human. The takeaway was being human means having those kinds of experiences we expect from humanity (note K’s relationship with his A.I. was not about children in any way) and leaving a mark on the world in some way (such as K sacrificing himself

I saw it less as the ability to reproduce means being human and more as it meaning that the replicants are truly living organisms, part of the natural order now, as opposed to constructed tools. Granted, the themes of the film are a bit muddled and I couldn’t argue against your interpretation.

“In many ways, Blade Runner wasn’t about the replicants, it was about what does it mean to be human? It’s like E.T. But I’m not certain what the question was in the second Blade Runner”

I think she was even credited in the film as well.

I don’t know if it was intentional, but my favorite part of that effect was that it felt like she stepped out of the old film. She was “off” but not in the Rogue One type of way. She felt like she had the living human equivalent of film grain. Her color grading was just the right amount of different from the rest of

Over the past few days I have been trying to think of sequels that were this good, I have come up with ESB (and that is really part of a trilogy but hey, still a sequel I guess), and.....I am sure there are many out there, but I just can’t think of any off the top of my head. Aliens was amazing but it was a totally

The sound was the absolute BEST I’ve heard in any film in years, this one is going to be a Blu-ray on the shelf once released.

This. Blade Runner is practically sacred to me and 2049 was about as good of a film, and a BladeRunner sequel, as I could ever possibly hope to have.

I love Blade Runner, it’s in my top 3, and I LOVED 2049. Denis Villeneuve and company absolutely nailed this one, and I am eternally grateful to him for not sullying the Blade Runner legacy.

I’ll wait for the definitive Director’s Cut where they show it was clearly Ryan who hit first.

To prove to everyone else and himself (mostly himself) how smart and great he is for not liking apple!

Please. No one is going to lose their jobs, and it probably won’t even be mentioned. It didn’t work, so they went to the backup, which worked perfectly. The horror!
