Once all cars on the road are autonomous, there would be little reason to keep the speed limit at their current standards and will most likely be raised quite a bit; those limits are set as they are because (a) it is assumed the people, on average, will be driving slightly faster than posted, and (more importantly)

As many have said, Cowboy Bebop needs to be on the list. Not as many people have said, but Royal Space Force: The Wings of Honnêamise also needs to be on the list.

Because accuracy and precision are different things.

The time machine in Doraemon (now a Disney® animation) specifically addresses this; i.e., the time machine is specifically stated as moving through both time and space (and when something goes wrong with the machine, the characters end up far from where/when they were trying to go).

I don't understand the hoopla with this scene. Disturbing? Sure, fucking in front of the dead body of their incestuous son is kind of disturbing. But rape? I really don't think so. Cersei kept on saying "It's not right"... which means to me she wants to fuck, too, but just not in that particular location.

No, if we built something that looked vaguely like a tragedy from another country, "some" people from that country would be up in arms against us, to which we would promptly respond "fuck off".

I see what you did there

Titanic. And I don't intend to, either.

While you mention Gundam, Akira and Nausicaä, there were a few others in the 80s that truly defined what cometh after. I would choose the Megazone 23 series (lot of cyberpunk themes there, too), Wings of Honneamise which is the Right Stuff in anime, and planted Gainax firmly in the industry, and Beautiful Dreamer by

A lot of these are pretty crappy. The pony shot, though, me limey.

"Look, it's happened many times in the past millions of years, when dinosaurs roamed the world and mean sea-level was meters above current levels, so it's totally OK for something like that to happen in the next couple hundred years!"

Did Gizmodo kill Clipmenu.com? Sounded good...

Washington isn't Twin Peaks? Damn it to hell.

On the other hand, from now on, this guy's right hand is going to be his Achilles' heel.

Ah, so you were insulted, and that's why you can't stop? Go back and read the *2nd* post I made; I acknowledged that you didn't get the calculation wrong, but that you were just using the "full frame equivalent" value. If you want an apology for that, I will give it to you; I'm sorry.

So you're suggesting that someone who works in the TV/Film industry is a majority, and the vast world of professional and amateur photographers that shoot on a regular basis from anything between a Pentax Q to ULF are a "fringe"? Give me a break.

OK, one more thing to clarify before I sign off.

Again, sorry, if you don't understand what I've said so far, then there is little hope we'll reach an agreement.

Nope, you are wrong, period. It acts like a 39mm lens. Look at the Kipon lens. Does it say anywhere that it "acts like a 60mm lens"? No, it doesn't. Because it's a 40mm lens, it's going to act like any other 40mm lens does "on an APS-C sensor".

You really have to get rid of the "same field of view" = "135 equivalent" mindset for a minute.
