Or, just

I was so looking forward to the '86 showing. I got to see a smudge in the sky with my 2.5in telescope. I hope to live till its return (I'll be nearing 90 ).

I don't see the problem here.

@DoctorEcks: @jeff4: Thanks guys for the nitty-gritty info. I'm really no pro, and I figured the Panny's gotta be pro-grade, so I understood, without knowing exactly why, there is that price gap.

@videobeagle: Thanks buddy, it did not read sarcastic at all.

@jrs: I do have an .edu email, as a matter of fact :-D Thanks again!

Except it's not the first "mirrorless camcorder with interchangeable lenses".

@jrs: Oy, thanks for the heads up; I have not heard of these services, I shall have to look them up! Cheers :-D

@Strakus: I agree; pretty much right along the lines of what I've been thinking recently, with the vast amount of information that is really, almost literally, at the tip of my fingers, thanks to the likes of Google and (more significantly, IMHO) Twitter.

@RawheaD: Doesn't look anything like it, though

#5 reminds of the observation deck in Sunshine.

@OMG! D.mobile: You know iDisk is one of those things that you only realize how indispensable it is *when* some problems occur.

@Urban-Sophist: Ah, I understand your point, and I wasn't suggesting that I could lose my files. Like you said, I have multiple backups of everything, so I'm not (and no PhD student should be) afraid of losing files.

@lavosdesign: Exactly. I look at this list, and I'm actually quite surprised that, yes, indeed, almost everything I get out of my MobileMe subscription (except for Find My iPhone, for now), I can get elsewhere for free or cheaper than from Apple.

@mtfmuffins: Or live streaming through Ust.

@JDickson87: I hope your shoe tastes good :-)

@lilalienpup: Since it's video, the shutter speed is a constant; you pick either 24fps or 30fps. You alter the exposure through ISO and/or aperture. I don't know what that flickering is; best guess is that it's an artifact of the HDR merging process?
