This exactly! Body diversity doesn't mean "omg the fatties are trying to make everyone else just like them and they won't be happy until everyone has diabetes and our asses become one with the couch cushions." It just means including people who aren't stick figures and admitting that those people can have interesting

Prepare for the fat-shaming and 'OBESITY IS UNHEALTHY AND AN AMERICAN PROBLEM. STOP TRYING TO BE POSITIVE ABOUT IT. The fatties should feel bad about themselves until they stop eating candy!' comments. Gonna go get me some popcorn.

Um, YUM!

I don't disagree with your point _and_ I also see the company's point.

The Barbie vs Bratz debate has always driven me crazy. The Bratz dress more Urban and Ethnic slutty then Barbie and her WASPy sluttiness. So really the argument comes down to Urban/Ethnic is worst than WASP. And then we get to the heart of the matter.

I do not find Mia Farrow's graphic illustration of the destruction of their family due to Woody Allen cheating on her with her teenage daughter to be as shocking as the actual destruction of their family due to Woody Allen cheating on her with her teenage daughter.

I don't think the struggle is novel. My point is that people are making fun of this guy's feelings because he's a guy. If the situation were reversed (as it often is, of course), and it were a woman in a room full of men, Jezebel (and the commenters) would be supportive, not dismissive of her feelings of discomfort.

It's the unnecessary tan and the Vicky's Panty Shack 'do.

I think you can say that a doctor and team of "experts" recommending a person spend all day long exercising is questionable.

i would have spelled cumbaya like that.

I want to point out to everyone that you cannot base someone's health simply on how they look. It is a common misconception, and a dangerous one, to assume that one can and will look "anorexic". Women can struggle with anorexia for years and not "look like it". Just because this woman has full thighs does not rule out

As a Fatty Fatty Bo Batty I gotta say this is total bullshit. You can't have it both ways. When talking about fat babes and health it is acknowledged that the BMI is bullshit, but when talking about thin-ness it is cited? That is fucked up. Talking about weight watchers like it is a credible fucking source for what

I don't know whether this woman has developed an eating disorder or not. But it really annoys me that everyone's freaking about the way this poor woman looks ("She's too thin!" She's a skeleton!" "She needs help!"), but no one seemed to give a shit during the entire BL season when everyone on the show—by nature of

While I do not want this lady to get bodysnarked (I really, really don't), I'd like to hope that this reaction might help the general public/media to realize that the whole premise of the show is unhealthy.

Just another example of how disordered eating and exercise behavior is considered punishment fat people deserve, but a concern when thin people have those behaviors.

I for one think she looks Ah-Mazing. There's nothing like the bone detailing of someone who lost 60% of their body weight in less than half a year that gives me the drive to lose those last 5 pounds. THINSPO!

The show should never have been taken as a realistic way to maintain a "healthy" living. The show teaches you how to lose weight if you don't work, don't have a family, can spend 8 hours in the gym a day every day, afford a personal trainer, afford a nutritionist and a personal chef, etc.

This show is disgusting. The trainers don't even care about helping the contestants lead healthy lives. They push and bully them into losing weight in order to be a "winner."
