People do have things to say about them. They're now discouraged from it since thin people who like victim playing used the concept of fat shaming to cry "We get shamed tttoooooo!"
Maybe by the time she grows up people will get over that people like myself have special needs.
The point is to shame people who speak like that about those with special needs. People having special needs should be no more of an issue, than the color of someone's hair.

I agree with you, but it seems being anything but nice to kids if their parents find out, only will cause the parents to make various noises in defense of their child like that mother bear nonsense. Sorry, but we live in civilized times where literally roaring at someone for not parenting them for you isn't acceptable.
The problem is there are less parents like you these days, and more parents who are likely to go "AH-AH-AH! YOU WERE MEAN TO MY BBBBAAAYYYYBBBBYYYY! EVERYONE LOOK AT THE BIG BAD MEAN PERSON! AH-AH-AH, HHOOOWWWWLLL!"
That's a completely reasonable fear to have. Parents will scream at anyone who gives off any sign their child isn't perfect, or glare them down like a pack of bullies.
Thanks for the reminder if you have no kids, the best you can hope for is to be used by a parent looking for free babysitting, and you should be honored at being chosen.
