Sony is the absolute worst, wanna know why? you are stuck to your country of purchase. Are you doing a year abroad and your vaio croaks, hahahhaha good luck sucker you are gonna have to pay to ship it to the us, send it for repairs and then pay to send it back to wherever you are.

I lost faith in sony and the vita after sony refused to fix my vita because I don't live in the us right now, and by the time I'm back my guarantee will have expired. And yet Microsoft will happily fix an American Xbox in Europe and the other way around. I just paid 300 dlls for a door stop...

i mean im not saying others shouldnt, but my experiences with them have been miserable. And i really loved my vita, but in good faith i cant give them more money

and they just told me they wont fix my 6 month old vita with the faulty battery cause i am in the uk doing a masters. And my Bravia that all of a sudden stopped working costs more than a new one to repair. AND my ps3 decided to not work with hdmi and the repair is again almost as much as a new ps3.
