basically the tower has an aggro meter, hostile actions raise it, targeting a friendly mob is a defensive/passive action and resets the meter

In my personal experience Dota people are more unforgiving than LoL players.

Pro tip: if you are getting hit by a tower and you have friendly creeps around, target one and the tower will stop attacking you

sure no prob, its a really cool game and it deserves all the fans it can get, also keep in mind 6300 heroes are not always the best, and NEVER get a hero the week they come out, they go down in price after 2 weeks or so. also every 2 new heroes a bunch of heroes go down in ingame price

not really, its turn based, you do attack and research tech but the pace is much more mellow
